Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth hosts 27 programs for gifted and talented pre-collegiate students around the country and world each summer. This year, we are seeking an instructor of our Introduction to Biomedical Sciences course hosted in Monterrey, Mexico. This program is for gifted and talented students finishing grades 7-10 and will be held from July 2nd until July 25th. The course is similar to a human anatomy and physiology course, focusing on systems when the body is well and when it is diseased. Students are in class 5 days a week for approximately 7 hours, so the course is fast-paced. Instructors receive a salary, room and board on campus, a science lab budget, and work with an undergraduate pre-med student as a teaching assistant. More information about the course and program can be found at www.cty.jhu.edu/summer/employment

Interested candidates should have experience with anatomy course work and teaching either at the college or K-12 levels. Interviews will be conducted by phone later this week. Please send a resume or CV to Laura Saxton at lsaxton@jhu.edu to indicate your interest.
